Recruitment Brand Ambassador

We are a fast growing Translation company with the aim of providing high standards of transcription and translation for our clients. We are based in Kirkham, Lancashire in the heart of the North West, just a short walk from Kirkham train station, 10 minutes from Preston station and 40 minutes from Manchester and Liverpool.
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic recruitment professional, however not in the typical sense. There is no client management involved, and no long hours spent on the phone – however the role still requires a confident individual who is proactive and prepared to work in a fast paced environment. We need a face of our resourcing department who can develop brand awareness through building relationships with key stakeholders at Universities globally and also attending networking events.
Reports to:Associate Director

The responsibilities of your job description encompass:

  • Ensuring that the business has the necessary linguistic resources to support our business development plan
  • Supporting the project team in sourcing linguists for individual jobs if response is low
  • Ensuring that linguist costs are kept in line with our recruitment cost framework
  • Being the face of the Language Insight brand to all linguists, developing interest in our brand through building relationships with key stakeholders at universities throughout the UK
Tasks include:
  • Presenting to language students at Universities throughout the UK, developing brand awareness and generating student interest in our recruitment opportunities
  • Attending language events, networking with linguists and cross selling our services where possible
  • Being proactive and determining new and innovative ways to gain interest from linguists
  • Posting job adverts for both in house and freelance opportunities
  • Salary/Rate negotiation to ensure we are cost efficient
  • Management of the recruitment databases
  • Management of the feedback logs for all languages, ensuring feedback is passed on to all linguists
  • Ensuring the correct documentation is on file for each linguist
  • Ensuring the recruitment process is compliant with our ISO 9001 accreditation
  • Utilising social platforms such as Linked In, joining groups and forums to increase brand awareness and build our freelance network
  • Hosting weekly meetings with the projects teams to assess their needs and feedback on progress from the weeks prior
  • Managing in house holiday cover to ensure continuity of service
  • Liaising with the marketing department to ensure key messages are delivered on social platforms


Skills and experience required:


  • Experience in a fast place role in a Recruitment agency, either in house or externally
  • The ability to pitch and present our brand at Universities throughout the UK
  • Experience at trade shows, networking with potential candidates
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills generally, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with a recruitment database
  • Experience with recruitment related compliance
  • Ability to multi task whilst still being effective
